About the Trust

Rooted in family. Devoted to service.

The Lakshmi Narain and Parvati Goel Charitable Trust gives lasting shape to a family's tradition of seva, quiet, purposeful giving to the causes that matter most.

A family that gives, together.

We are a family-run charitable trust. There are no offices, no overheads passed on to a cause, no distance between the giver and the gift. When the Trust contributes, a member of the family is there, at the hospital, at the school, at the temple, seeing the need with their own eyes.

That closeness is deliberate. It keeps our giving honest, our judgement grounded, and our promises kept. It also means we would rather do a few things wholeheartedly than many things half-way.

Most of our work gathers around two lifelong concerns of our founders, the health of a community, and the education of its children, though no genuine need is ever outside our door.

The lives behind the name.

Shri Lakshmi Narain Goel and Smt. Parvati Goel built their lives on hard work, humility and an open hand. The Trust exists so that their way of living outlives them, carried forward by children and grandchildren alike.

श्री लक्ष्मी नारायण गोयल
Founder

A man who measured wealth by what it allowed him to give. His generosity was constant, practical and utterly without show: school fees paid, medicines arranged, help extended before it was asked for.

श्रीमती पार्वती गोयल
Founder

The quiet strength of the family, for whom no guest left unfed and no neighbour struggled alone. Her kindness was a daily discipline, and the standard the Trust holds itself to.

The hands that guide the Trust today.

The founders' tradition is carried forward by the next generation of the family, with the same closeness and responsibility that have always defined the Trust.

Carrying the family's tradition of seva into the present, and guiding the Trust's work today.

Direct giving, lasting impact.

To ease genuine hardship and widen genuine opportunity, through direct, meaningful contributions made with sincerity, transparency and personal involvement.

Purposeful

Every contribution is chosen for the concrete difference it makes, never for its size, and never for its visibility.

Transparent

We give directly to institutions and causes, and we account openly to our donors and partners for every rupee entrusted to us.

Personal

A member of the family is involved in every initiative, from the first conversation to the handover, and well beyond it.

सेवा परमो धर्मः

"Service is the highest dharma", the words our founders lived by, and the ones we answer to.

Three steps. No shortcuts.

i.

Listen

Every request begins with a conversation. We visit, we ask questions, and we try to understand the need as the people living it do, not as a line in a proposal.

ii.

Verify

Before the Trust commits, we satisfy ourselves that the need is genuine, the institution is sound, and the contribution will be used exactly as intended.

iii.

Give & stay

We give directly, an ambulance, equipment, fees, materials, and then we stay in touch, because a gift's real measure is what it is doing a year later.
